How Does SmoothGlo Work?
SmoothGlo combines intense pulsed light (IPL), radiofrequency, and microneedling to target various skin challenges simultaneously.
The IPL portion of the treatment uses heat from the light energy to eliminate spots, freckles, and sun damage. Then, the radiofrequency and microneedling channels the heat deeper into your skin to stimulate the natural healing process and trigger new cell growth.

What Happens After a SmoothGlo Treatment?
Multiple sessions are usually required to see lasting results from a SmoothGlo treatment. You’ll often notice changes in your skin right after the first visit, but the number of visits you’ll need for your desired results depends on your goals and skin concerns. We usually recommend 3–4 visits.
This treatment is non-surgical and noninvasive, meaning there’s often no downtime needed. But you may experience mild redness, soreness, or swelling. These symptoms usually resolve on their own in a few hours. For the first 24 hours after treatment, it’s advised that you avoid strenuous activity and use sunscreen to protect your skin from UV light.
